ZNQA™ Program

The quality standard your procurement team will actually trust.

The ZED Network Quality Assurance program is a structured inspection and documentation framework applied to every ZGS shipment. ZNQA inspections are conducted through independent verification procedures designed to confirm shipment specifications prior to export — separate from mill-side grading.

Every container ships with a complete shipment documentation packet. Documented verification before sealing. No ambiguity at destination.

  • Pre-shipment photo verification at the sawmill
  • Moisture content readings recorded and verified during final inspection prior to export
  • Dimensional and grade verification against contracted specifications
  • Signed Pre-Shipment Sign-Off form with supplier acknowledgment
  • Container load diagram and desiccant placement record
  • Structured claims response protocol with 14-day resolution window

Multi-Layer Verification

Every ZGS shipment is confirmed through multiple verification checkpoints prior to export.

Production Verification — Grading and kiln drying performed by qualified sawmill partners according to contracted specifications.
Origin Oversight — In-country operational supervision of production runs, documentation preparation, and container loading at origin.
ZNQA Inspection — Documented verification of dimensions, grade, and moisture content prior to container sealing. Results included in buyer packet.

About ZGS

A structured hardwood procurement and export program.

U.S.-based commercial principal. East Africa-sourced. Built around documented inspection, qualified supplier networks, and a defined export process for serious North American buyers.

Our Story

Structured around documentation and export control from the outset.

Zed Global Solutions is a U.S.-based hardwood procurement and export program connecting East African sawmill networks with North American importers, distributors, and manufacturers. We operate as the commercial principal — managing supplier qualification, inspection oversight, and buyer programs while maintaining operational representation in Kenya for sourcing, production coordination, and export logistics at origin.

Our operational background in international logistics and U.S. inland freight informs how we structure container programs, documentation protocols, and delivery expectations for buyers. The result is a supply program built around what procurement teams actually need: verified specs, complete paperwork, and a defined process at every step. ZGS maintains direct communication with both buyers and origin operations throughout the production and export process.

ZNQA™ — ZED Network Quality Assurance

What we mean when we say documented.

ZNQA is not a marketing claim. It is a structured inspection protocol with defined rejection thresholds, mandatory photo evidence, and documented verification at every stage — independent of mill-side grading. Here's how it works:

01

Pre-Production Approval

Species verification, supplier credentials, and grading standards confirmed before any purchase order is issued.

02

At-Mill Inspection

Dimensional verification, visual grading, and moisture content testing at the sawmill. Photo checklist completed and filed under unique ZNQA reference number.

03

Pre-Loading Sign-Off

Supplier signs Pre-Shipment Sign-Off form confirming all specs are met. This document travels with the container.

04

Container Loading

Load plan executed per ZGS-SOP-003. Wall air gaps maintained. Desiccant bags placed per protocol. ISPM-15 pallets verified.

05

Post-Load Moisture Check

Final moisture readings taken after loading and recorded. Container sealed only when MC readings are within spec.

06

Buyer Document Packet

Complete document packet transmitted to buyer before or upon container arrival. Claims protocol activated within 14 days of receipt if needed.

Container Program

Optimized for efficiency and protection.

The ZGS 40' high-cube container program is structured around maximum board foot yield and moisture protection in transit. Every element — from forklift runner placement to desiccant positioning — follows a written standard operating procedure. Each container is verified under the ZNQA inspection protocol prior to sealing, ensuring documented compliance with shipment specifications.

Buyers receive a container load diagram with every shipment showing pallet layout, unit count, and configuration. Supporting inspection records are included in the buyer documentation packet. ZGS maintains direct communication throughout the production and export process.

Containers arrive import-ready at Savannah, GA or Norfolk, VA. Buyers typically arrange inland transportation and transload through their preferred freight partners.

Common Questions

Frequently asked by procurement teams.

What documentation accompanies each shipment?

Every container ships with a full ZNQA documentation packet — including photo verification checklist, moisture content log, grade and dimension report, pre-shipment sign-off, container load plan, Lacey Act declaration, phytosanitary certificate, commercial invoice, and inspection verification record.

Can buyers arrange their own inland freight?

Yes. ZGS shipments are delivered import-ready at the destination port. Inland freight, drayage, and transload coordination are typically arranged by the buyer through their preferred carriers and freight partners.

Do you ship mixed-species containers?

Mixed-species containers may be accommodated depending on order specifications and minimum volume per species. Contact us to discuss your requirements — we'll confirm feasibility and lead time.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order is one 40' high-cube container. First-time buyers are encouraged to start with a trial container under the ZGS container program. View the Trial Container Program →
